The Testing Division is one of the four technical divisions of the Ghana Standards Authority. It is one of the internationally recognized laboratories in Ghana currently. It derives its mandate from the Standard Decree, NRCD 173, 1973.
The Testing Division of the Authority is responsible for the chemical, physical and microbiological analysis of product/produce submitted to the Authority for analysis. Analyses conducted are for Quality Evaluation, Certification and Destination Inspection purposes. The Division consists of five laboratories.
